Terms and Conditions

Welcome to YET Roadside Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting or using our roadside assistance services (the "Services"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Services Provided

We provide local roadside assistance service within King County, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Battery jump-starts

  • Flat tire changes (using the Customer’s functional spare tire)

  • Fuel delivery (cost of fuel is extra)

  • Lockout services

  • Coolant delivery (cost of coolant is extra)

**We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle is in an unsafe location, contains hazardous materials, or if the request violates any local laws.

 

2. Fees, Rates, and Payment

  • Pricing: You agree to pay the rates quoted to you at the time of service request, which may include a base dispatch fee, mileage fees, and specific service surcharges (e.g., after-hours, winching, or severe weather fees).

  • Payment Timing: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, or prior to dispatch, at our discretion.

  • Payment Methods: We accept [Credit/Debit Cards, ACH, Mobile Payments like Apple, Zelle. NO PERSONAL CHECKS].

  • Additional Costs: The Customer is responsible for any third-party fees incurred during the service, including but not limited to highway tolls, parking fees, or impound/storage lot fees.

 

3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Cancellation Fee: If you cancel the service after our service vehicle has been dispatched, you may be charged a Cancellation Fee of [minimum $50] or the base dispatch fee.

  • No-Show: If our driver arrives at the designated location and you are not present with the vehicle, or the vehicle cannot be located after reasonable effort, the full quoted amount or a standard No-Show Fee will be charged.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities and Safety

For safety and efficiency, the Customer agrees to:

  • Provide an accurate location and description of the vehicle.

  • Ensure a safe working environment around the vehicle (e.g., pulling over to the shoulder if possible).

  • Ownership: Warrant that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or have explicit permission from the owner to authorize the towing or service. You must present a valid photo ID and proof of vehicle authorization upon request.

  • Remain with the vehicle until the driver arrives, unless explicitly instructed otherwise for safety reasons.

 

5. Limitation of Liability and Damage Claims

  • Pre-Existing Damage: We are not liable for any pre-existing mechanical, electrical, or structural damage to your vehicle. Our drivers may take photos of your vehicle prior to rendering service.

  • Service Limitations: We are not responsible for any damage resulting from normal roadside procedures, such as minor scratches on custom wheels during standard tire changes, or standard door frame movement during a lockout service.

  • Delays: ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) quotes are estimates only. We  do our best to arrive on time, but cannot be liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road construction, or other factors beyond our control.

  • Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific service.

 

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State/Province of Washington State, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions must be filed in the courts of King County.

 

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or providing them to you digitally before service dispatch.
